Protecting you is our top priority. One way we do this is by preventing the unauthorized use of your card. During an online purchase, you may be guided through an extra check to verify your identity. This helps us ensure you are the rightful owner of the card and better protects you from fraud.

VISA SRC adds an extra layer of security making it harder for an unauthorized user to shop online with your VISA card in the unfortunate event your information is lost or stolen
VISA Purchase Alerts
Know where your money is going. Get a text or email whenever you pay with your VISA card.
To check your card eligibility or sign up for the alerts, cardholders can visit Visa Purchase Alerts.

If you are traveling internationally or just outside of your normal card usage area (Visa Debit or Credit), please let us know so we can ensure you have safe and easy access to your funds while we continue to protect you from fraud.
You can send us notification via an email to email@example.com, a secure message in eBanking. You may also just call or visit a branch. If you choose to email notification, please refrain from including private information, as email is not secure.
LOCK MY CARDS
If your card is lost or stolen you can temporarily block any new transactions on your SunState VISA® Debit and/or Credit Card(s) via eBanking and/or the SunState mobile app.
- Locking your card only impacts future card transactions
- Any previous transactions will be paid
- Locking your card will not affect your checks, mobile or internet transfers, bill payments or any other type of transaction on your account(s)
To lock your card(s) via eBanking or the mobile app, go to accounts, then Lock My Cards, then follow onscreen instructions.
Contact us to have your card permanently cancelled and reissued, or to report unauthorized transactions.
