Information on Visa Debit and Credit Card Conversion

  •  After the conversion, you will be able to see your credit card account in eBanking.
  • You will have access to your credit card transaction information in the same way you have access to the transaction information on your checking or savings account. 
  • You will be able to make payments, request advances, view history, request increases, etc. all from your PC or mobile device!

  • We have re-issued ALL consumer and business debit cards. You should expect to receive them the week of February 26.
  • Current debit cards will work through 3/19/18 and the new cards will work immediately after activating.
  • Card styles are all changing
  • If you are set up for Visa Purchase Alerts, Verified by Visa, or Visa Checkout, please register your new card.
  • If you have automatic payments on your current Visa Debit card, you will need to set those up with the new card number once you receive the new card.
  • All cards will be chip cards. (EMV)

  • Reissue to ALL platinum, secured, and business credit card holders will begin in early March.
  • Actual Conversion date is 3/26/18.
  • Current credit cards will work through 3/25/18. Do not destroy your existing card until 3/26/18.
  • The new cards CANNOT be activated until 3/26/18. The activation system will not recognize them until that date.
  • Card styles are all changing
  • If you are set up for Visa Purchase Alerts, Verified by Visa, or Visa Checkout, please register your new card.
  • If you have automatic payments on your current Visa Credit Cards, you will need to set those up with the new card number once you receive the new card.

  • If you have ANY automatic payment established on your current SunState Credit card, you will need to update the address on your Bill Payer or similar service to: Card Services PO Box 1162, Gainesville, FL 32627-1162. If you do not change the address on your Bill Payer to the new address before your March payment is due, it could cause 2-3 week delays before payments are posted.
  • If you have your SunState Visa Credit Card set up on an automatic payment from your SunState account, your payment should continue to work as normal.
  • If you have an automatic payment set up for your SunState Visa through another financial institution, please contact the credit union to ensure that your automatic payment will continue to post as expected. Some members may need to update their automatic payment information after their March payment (February Statement). The new cards will have an automatic payment option and we can assist you with setting it up.
