What you need to participate in SunState's Nickel
Back Rewards?
All you need is a SunState Checking account and
a SunState Visa debit card. Every time you use your SunState
Visa debit card for a signature transaction, you get a
nickel back. Don't have a SunState Visa Debit? Contact
a member service representative today.
Are business accounts allowed?
No. Business accounts do not qualify for SunState's
Nickel Back.
Does my VISA credit card receive Nickel Back transactions?
No. Members with SunState Visa credit cards can
choose between SunState's lowest rate or a low rate and
ScoreCard Rewards. To learn more about SunState Visa credit

Do Bill Payer or ACH transactions count?
No. SunState will give members a nickel back for
each Signature based transaction using their SunState debit
card.
Do online purchases using my debit card count?
Most online purchases go through the Visa network
and those would be eligible for a nickel back per transaction.
Is there a minimum purchase amount?
No. You get a nickel back for downloading a $0.99
song from iTunes and you also get a nickel back when you
sign for your morning cup of coffee.
Is there a yearly maximum?
No. The more you use your SunState debit card
the more you get back. Just sign your name instead of
keying in your PIN and you win.
When are funds posted to my account?
Your Nickel Back reward is posted in bulk to your
account daily. We will list your monthly Nickel Back reward
total on your statement as well.
Do I need to enroll?
No. All members with a SunState checking and
Visa debit card are automatically enrolled.
